Masterclass: Prove It. Professionalism in the AI age. Free session, 45 minutes, 17 September 2026.
Eight weeks

The job changed.
The standard moved.

Upskilling for people who already know their work — and now have to do it with systems, data and AI in the middle of it.

You are not behind. The floor came up. The New Baseline is eight weeks to stand on it, and the Labs are where you start if eight weeks is too much to commit to today.

Five minutes. Ten questions. Your level on screen straight away.

Find out which of the four levels you are actually working at, and which one your job now needs.

Take the Gap Check

Who this is for

The New Baseline is for people who are good at their job and can feel the ground move under it.

  • You have fifteen years of judgement and a system nobody asked you about.
  • You sign off on numbers you cannot fully trace.
  • You are told to use AI without being told what you may and may not do with it.
  • You are managing a transformation you did not design.

You do not need to be taught your own profession. You need the part that was added to it while you were busy doing it.

The Baseline Method

Four levels. Everything we run maps to one of them.

  1. Level 1

    Aware

You can follow what is happening and ask the right question.

  2. Level 2

    Applying

You use the tools in your own work and get a usable result.

  3. Level 3

    Assessing

You can judge what comes out, defend it, and say no to it.

  4. Level 4

    Building

You design and commission the thing itself.

Most professional development stops at Level 2 — you learn to use the thing. Level 3 is where the job actually is now: judging what comes out, defending it to someone senior, and saying no when it is wrong.

How the method works →

Who is behind it

Twenty years of curriculum design, and a national transformation programme right now.

Engracia Sleeswijk designs accredited curricula and leads digital transformation programmes inside organisations. She runs the sessions and does the assessments herself. The first cohort starts 12 October 2026.

  • I got to know Ms Sleeswijk during a training course where, thanks to her unerring read of people, she saw the participants for their worth and their potential. Where needed she takes individuals aside to advise them, help them further and encourage them.

    Procurement & contract management adviser

  • A fantastic teacher who brings theory to life. I am extremely glad I took Engracia's classes. I first knew her as the teacher of the Data Analysis for Managers module.

    Leader, organisational and people development

  • It is genuinely remarkable to watch how Engracia lets participants discover for themselves where their real pain sits. She does it by looking and listening closely, and by creating an environment where that is safe.

    Manager, social services
